Story

Owned by color specialist Thea Tsiranides, and her husband George, Salon Etre is designed to provide an upscale and sophisticated full service salon experience, right in the heart of South Norwalk. The realization of Tsiranides’ long time dream, the salon offers complete hair and make-up services, including cutting, color, treatments and styling. The salon also offers top-of-the-line products for hair including organic options for color and styling.

Salon Etre’s stylists have been selected from among the most creative and experienced salon professionals in the area -- chosen for their unique approach, attention to detail and ability to connect with their clients. “My goal is simple” says Tsiranisdes, “I want to provide each and every one of our clients with an amazing salon experience and gorgeous results. We are doing that by combining fresh talent with seasoned stylists to meet all our clients needs.” Salon Etre’s stylists come from all over Fairfield County, including Stamford, Norwalk, Westport, New Canaan and Darien.

The salon itself is elegant and luxurious – designed for both relaxation and inspiration. After two years of searching for the right space, Tsiranisdes finally found the perfect spot right in SoNo. Another 5 months of planning and renovation and the result is an urban upscale décor that mixes perfectly with the original details of the space.

Why choose SoNo for an upscale new salon? For Tsiranisdes it makes perfect sense. “There is a lot of creative and artistic energy in this part of town and with great shopping and wonderful restaurants there is lots to do. Both George and I are from Norwalk and own another business here (SoNo Academy). We believe in our town and want to be a part of its growth, now and into the future.
