I am a recent graduate of Salon Institute, and I have to say my experience was AMAZING. The environment is so uplifting, the teachers are always willing to help with anything and everything, all of the staff are beyond nice and will do anything to help you. The education you receive  truly is the best! Over all, my experience at this school was amazing and I am so beyond happy I went to this School! I gained so much knowledge, and amazing friendships with students and the staff that will last a lifetime! The staff will even continue to help you after you graduate, with either advice, or job help! Everyone is so caring, and the campus itself is beautiful! I highly recommend this School to anyone who wishes to be a cosmetologist, or even someone who would love to go in and get their hair done!

I have been coming on and off to this school for five years. The girls are all so sweet! And make me look and feel young. I have always received compliments on my hair! After looking at some of the other reviews on here I am surprised at them: of course students take longer, duh. Didn't you read the sign? Every 8-10 weeks I pop into here and there are plenty of darling hair cuts/ color going on! If you want to look cute, help out students, and save some money- this is the place!

As a former student I can say that I got the best quality of education I could have possibly got. My instructors went out of their way to make sure I would succeed. They were always there when I had a question or just needed someone to talk to. By the time I was done in the classroom and was on the clinic floor I felt prepared and confident. The atmosphere was amazing and that was initially what got me interested in the school. Besides learning cosmetology and growing as a cosmetologist, I grew as a person. I wouldn't change the time I had at school.❤️ Love what you learn.

To any future hairdressers, I highly recommend attending Salon Institute.
I am a fellow graduate , working full time in a salon that I absolutely love and am so thankful for— and I wouldn’t of known about the job opportunity if it wasn’t for them. They care about your education , your future..YOU. 

I do recommend doing the program that teaches hair, skin, and nails. If your going to invest, invest in the MOST education that’s going to add to your skill level.

Learning this trade did not come natural for me,—but it has always been enstilled in my heart that I wanted to be a cosmetologist. I wanted to help people FEEL and LOOK there absolute best! The support of my educators, and staff of the school—(and Ofcourse family) somehow I managed to push through and graduate and am doing what I love!

I will never go back to this place, i asked for a partial undercut and they gave me a full undercut. It looks awful, but the woman who cut my hair stated "You'll grow into it, you will love it." I dont and i didnt even want to pay for the horrible service and the lack of communication. I wish she would have said sorry or acted at least she was sorry but she was very rude.
