The staff are very nice, and the salon is very clean and welcoming. However, my only issue is pricing. When I booked an appointment, I asked for a Woman's Shampoo + Haircut, and specifically said that styling wasn't necessary. On their service menu it states that a Shampoo+Haircut is $30+, where a Shampoo+Haircut+style is $42+. Mine came out to $52. If they priced it based off of what I requested, then I'm not sure what the + in $30+ was meant for or why it added on an extra $20. On top of that, my hair was a good 3/4 inch shorter than the desired length in the reference picture I showed my stylist. It wasn't a bad haircut, just not what I wanted - especially considering the price. I usually try and not complain about things like this, especially because every stylist cuts hair differently, however many stylists in the past have gotten at least close to what I ask for.

Elissa and Sarah (stylists) and Michelle (spa) have done a number of services for me over the years. Salon 61 is professional and positive atmosphere. If phone is missed I am called back within 30 minutes to book in. Haven't been? I highly suggest you check it out😃

Amazing staff.  Building might not be best suited for a full fledged salon & spa though.
