EXCELLENCE!!!  I've been had my hair done by Mark - aka the Master - since 1991 and drive all the way from Telluride, Colorado, Phoenix or wherever I am and whenever I can, just to have his skilled hand highlight and cut my hair!!  In all of the years (decades!) I've tried other stylists a bit closer to home, but NO ONE has been able to get close to the level of "getting it right" that Mark does!  He literally takes years off my face with his mastery!   The salon is comfortable, fun and professional!  I highly recommend Salon Virtu!  BTW:  don't take my photo as an example...I'm an avid outdoors woman with a pony tail, but I can get dressed up to show off my coif!  :)

My previous hairdresser had left town, so I finally (after much research) landed here with Mandy as my colorist and Dax as my stylist. Both were wonderful. Mandy truly listened and consulted before we ended up settling on a path. And they use low-ammonia products, which is one of the main reasons I chose them.  Dax took over and had such great ideas, that I quickly placed my trust in him to make me look good. Plus, he's a pro and I recognized that he knew what he was doing. The cut was sassy, but kept my length. Nothing ordinary about it. The prices are at the higher end for Sedona, but worth it.

I never had a chance to review, but I had my hair done at this salon last year by Christina. I walked in with VERY healthy hair and brought in a clear photo of what I wanted. (By the way, the owner, Mark, had later commented on how healthy my hair was when I came in).  Christina did interesting colors with my hair but THREE times she redid it and never got it anywhere close to what I wanted.
My hair was SHOT after that!
The worse part is Mark took no responsibility and offered NO financial recourse. he said since she was an independent contractor, it was between she and I.

I should have reviewed long ago, but since I am left with the damage still, a year later, I am NOW.

Just understand 2 things: there are very unprofessional stylists at this salon and 2.( if they mess up your hair, you're pretty much S.O.L.
I just don't want to support salons like that with my dollars or my time/energy.

Radiant and healthy hair to fried and damaged is just NOT acceptable.

Lyndy P. did my hair and makeup for my wedding day. I have never felt or looked more beautiful in my life! She was so kind, and worked with me as far as my image for what I wanted to look like on my wedding day, but then she took that and transformed me into someone so pretty I still almost can't believe it myself that it was me in the mirror! She did a fantastic job! I recommend her highly! Thanks so much, Lyndy, for making my special day more than I have ever dreamed!

Alyssa is new to Sedona, & I was hesitant to give her a try since I wanted a lot of hair cut off. She gave me a phenomenal haircut! She asks a lot of questions to really make sure she's doing what you want (so it's not the kind of experience that you'll walk away with something TOTALLY different than what you had in mind!) She's extremely meticulous and just all around adorable.  DEFINITELY WORTH IT!
