This beach is beautiful and always clean. I've never had a problem with parking and the parking rate is great. It is a walk down to the beach, but they have a tram that will take you up and down for $1/person (not sure of the tram hours though). There is a bathroom in the parking lot area as well as down by the beach. There are showers for rinsing off too. They also have a little food shack where you can purchase food and drinks.  During summer the life guards are there and very attentive to the swimmers! (Makes you feel good to have help if you need it!) Another plus is that there is a really nice park with shade, grass and picnic tables. The park is right there on your walk down to the beach.

Nachos Supreme (beef or chicken) - $7.99 with guacamole and sour cream. Plenty of other breakfast and lunch items, too. Very convenient if you're hanging out at Salt Creek Beach for the day. Close to the surf; restrooms and showers nearby. Rent beach-chairs, umbrellas, boogie-boards and more here, too. During Summer months there is a $1 shuttle to haul people up the steep path to the parking areas.

The absolute BEST breakfast burritos in south county with the most amazing view!!! If you really wish to overdo it, add the Apple Burrito to your order; deep fried tortilla with apple pie filling, covered in cinnamon sugar. On second thought, add vanilla ice cream and whipped cream!
