Came in and got a seat quickly. Unfortunately the floor is beautiful but uneven and when our drinks came it was hard not to have them spill with every table tilt. However the waiter was quick to help fix it with some drink coasters. We both ordered a burger and fries. It was cooked as requested and the fries were tasty. The tomatoes and lettuce were not great. I prefer something with more taste than iceberg. They have done a great job making over the place I loved the beer bottle lighting. We will be back.

We are taking a break from SWT after a few unpleasant attempts to have dinner downstairs on an otherwise not-busy weeknight this Summer. We were there Friday, June 30 around 8pm and seats at the bar were mostly full, but plenty of nice booths were available along the Columbia St side. There was pleasant live musician there who we believe was from Hawaii. The place is just beautiful and comfortable. I know the beer selection is strong with plenty of local options, so maybe the best way to enjoy SWT is to just get some good drinks. Our waitress greeted us quickly and we put in an order of calimari and a few drinks. We didn't see the drinks for 10 minutes which was surprising because the bar tender seemed to have time to talk to those at the bar. I ordered strip steak medium and wife went with the salmon. Eventually our calimari arrived and it was pretty good. This is when things got weird. We never saw our waitress again. Some time later, another waitress came by and said our original waitress was downstairs or something and the kitchen is backed up (remember it wasn't exactly busy). We were enjoying the music and drinks while we waited a long time for our main dishes. When they arrived, we could see they were rushed and clearly undercooked. My steak came back on the rare side of medium-rare, which I was "ok" with (and reason why I order medium in case the kitchen goes a bit over or under), but my wife's salmon was clearly not cooked. I made due and my wife picked around her dish, but she rightly wouldn't eat it. Our new waitress never came by for the "how is everything" after delivering the meals, so when she finally did come by, we asked her about the salmon and she reluctantly said "yeah, it may be a little undercooked", but didn't apologize or offer any kind of resolution. Maybe she wasn't actually a waitress because she'd never last as one. Maybe 15 minutes after we clearly stopped eating and slid our plates towards the edge of the table, our "waitress" brought us our check without asking if we'd like another drink or dessert or anything. I guess she wanted us to just leave. We did, and ended up enjoying ourselves with great service and drinks at another establishment not far down Main St.

We went for our weekly date night, and I desperately wanted to love this place. The atmosphere was wonderful. We ordered chips and salsa while we decided on entrees. It was delicious. The drinks were wonderful and beer selection phenominal. My hopes continued to soar! Unfortunately, I chose the chicken burrito and my hopes didn't last. It was described on the menu as being smothered in enchilada sauce. What it was smothered in was marinara. The southwest flavors meant to be in a burrito do not meld with marinara in any way. For the first time ever, I had to send my food back, as I found it to be inedible with the flavor combinations. I requested a new burrito with no marinara while hubby continued to eat his fish and chips. I munched off of his plate. I found the fish and chips to be wonderful. He didn't love them. I think he may have been expecting something slightly different. Long story short, if you love TexMex/Southwest food, don't order it here. Stick to the fish. My lesson is learned. P.S. be sure to have a Pink Seniorita. It's delish!!

I have been to this place multiple times. They have a great beer and cocktail selection. Unfortunately, we have never had a great experience. I want to like it but it seems to be seriously mismanaged. On our last visit I decided I will not be returning. The kitchen was seriously backed up and we were being very patient. We ordered some apps and entrees, about an hour and a half later the bartender informed us we may want to find somewhere else to eat. Then, our entrees came out with no sign of appetizers. The owner/manager was there and never once spoke to us or anyone else around us to apologize or explain the situation. Too bad, I will be very surprised if they make it through the winter.
