Considered one of the best Oyster bars in the U.S. We grow our own oysters and vegetables; creating signature dishes tied to New England seasons.

Story

We are committed to uniting fresh, locally grown produce with farm-raised and wild-caught seafood to make the freshest dishes you’ll find anywhere. Our signature raw bar offers a variety of Rhode Island oysters, crisp cherrystones, littleneck clams, and jumbo shrimp. Our Matunuck Oysters are grown in Potter Pond right off our waterfront patio and many of our herbs and vegetables are grown in our vegetable farm on the north end of the pond.

Rainy day ride to Matunuck oyster bar. My first time! Great red sangria. Ordered a sampler of oysters with jumbo shrimp. Totally awesome! One was sweet the others slightly salty but great flavor. Huge jumbo shrimp. Then a sampler of cooked oysters. Wasn’t as happy with them. I didn’t like the bourbon or the oyster Rockefeller. Then a order of mussels in a butter wine and garlic broth with garlic bread. Again wonderful. finished with a cup of New England clam chowder. Chunks of clams and potatoes in thick cream broth. Delicious. Will definitely come back and try a meal.

The Valet Parking was much appreciated. The attendants were polite, respectful & courteous. We asked for outside seating and we had a wonderful view of the water. Table was cleared and reset for us within minutes. Our waiter was polite, smiled, attentive without being intrusive. Well informed of specials, which Oysters were available & listened to all of our requests. The appetizers came out quickly. We ordered Oysters, Clam Casinos & Shrimp with Cocktail Sauce. Oysters were delicious. Shrimp was the jumbo size. Casinos were well liked also. Our dinners came out quickly as well. Fish n Chips, The Fried Clams & Sea Scallops. Each meal was a plentiful amount of food. I myself had the Scallops, the plate came with mashed red bliss potatoes, nice variety of vegetables, a bed of delicious corn salsa with Scallops on top. Great time had by all. Will definitely be back.

BEST calamari ever, and we order it every place that has it. Little necks and pasta had WAY more little necks than any other place we've been to -- could barely see the pasta. All of the eight people in our party were more than happy their meal -- all of whom are commercial fishermen, or related to a commercial fisherman. AND our waitress was fantastic!

Damn : ( I love this restaurant we drive from East Providence a few times a year and I always eat the cod sandwich and it’s amazing. The fish and fries were great but the sesame seed bread felt like it had just been hanging around in the kitchen and they grabbed it to use lol. It was kind of hard but not toasted. Like it was old. Ruined the sandwich. I remember it being much better. And don’t remember it being on sesame seed bun. We were sat upstairs which is fine by me. I don’t care where we sit as long as we are here cause we love this restaurant but it was SO Warm and stuffy upstairs!!! Uncomfortable. I’m not a negative person I absolutely love this restaurant and tell everyone to go here at least a few times a year. The other 10 times we have been here it’s been great so 1 our of 10 isn’t bad. But it does kind of leave that feeling of “well is it going to be like that the next time I’m here?” Stinks feeling like u wasted money...Just wasn’t good this time. Had to take away the 2 stars tonight. : /

Really nice, casual, waterfront dining. Had a lobster roll that was top notch. Gets crowded so go earlier if you don't like to wait, otherwise plan on spending time at the bar before you get seated. You won't be disappointed.
