Sam’s club wants you to pay them so you can pick up your groceries curbside yet don’t respect you enough to not ruin your groceries. If you’re a white customer at the Jonesboro store you Will be disrespected by their black female curbside employee. She’s about 5’4” and chubby. Bigger than me and able to pick up the cases of water that I’m too small to handle. Your large, heavy, stackable items Will be tossed in the vehicle any which way and will be busted by the time you get home. That is one L. A. Z. Y. employee and yes she will be there because Sam’s club doesn’t appreciate their customers enough to get rid of employees like her and hire good people. P. S. NO, SHE DIDN’T GET THE TIP I HAD PREPARED FOR HER. SHE CERTAINLY DIDN’T DESERVE ONE.
Very bad experience today with Sam's club Jonesboro, AR customer care employee. Jay, Black Male was very rude while paying credit card payment. I handed him $1000 for payment and he entered $10. I informed him that you got $1000 from me while he wanted me to confirm $10. He said very rudely that he knows how to do his job instead of apologizing. Then he changed it to $100 again and I had to tell him that he is entering wrong amount again. He speaks to me very rudely again and he changed amount to a 100 again instead of $1000. I asked him put correct amount so I can get back to my job timely but then he stopped completely. I requested him to call the manager/supervisor since three times cant be mistake you cannot do like this when you collecting money from club member. I feel at that time that he was trying to cheat me then manager/supervisor came and instead of telling him to talk politely with club member he tells me that I was yelling to his employeeI told him to check camera when in fact, I was trying to explain that he committed the same mistake three times. I hope this issue would be taken seriously so that any of the club members don't have to face similar issues ever again.
Today, I had the worst curbside pickup experience i’ve ever had in my life at this location. I arrived to pick up an order on behalf of someone else and didn’t have the app on my phone. This led me to calling the store directly to try to get assistance and let them know I was there to pick up an order. When I called the store, I was only able to reach the bakery after being on hold for over 15 minutes. Because of this, we asked the employee working curbside pickups outside if he could help check us in to receive the order. He very rudely informed us that he was busy and he did not have time to help us… We went inside to the customer service desk and asked for their assistance and described our negative encounter with the curbside pickup employee. The customer service representative was appalled and went and informed a manager of what we were trying to do and of our bad experience. Although the manager never came to speak with us, the customer service employee assured us that the order would be brought out to us shortly. When we arrived back at the vehicle, the same employee who was working the curbside pickup area came to our vehicle to work with us. He had an attitude for the duration of the interaction, but he eventually was able to bring us our order. However, after bringing the order out which ended up being 6 carts full of groceries, the employee walked away leaving us to load all of the groceries by ourselves in the heat. I have used curbside at numerous stores and I have never had an employee storm off and not even offer to help us. Most curbside pickups actually usually load them for you, however, because it was so many items, we had gotten out to assist him so that he wouldn’t have to do it alone.. I am beyond disappointed with the Sam’s curbside pickup and was shocked by the lack of professionalism and rudeness of the employee when we were simply asking for his assistance. I also wish that the manager had done more or at least apologized to us for the god awful experience we had. The whole ordeal ended up taking about an hour and a half, when it should’ve taken maybe 30 minutes tops. I personally do not have a Sam’s Club membership, and after my experience today, I certainly have no desire to ever get one. Would not recommend this location to anyone!
I'm disappointed with the café. Despite their advertised closing time of 7:00 pm, we arrived at 6:15 pm for dinner, and no one was working. After informing the front desk, who acknowledged the issue, we waited with other customers for at least 15 minutes before deciding to find another place to spend our money
I am only giving 1 star in order to write this review. I went to use the scan n go app because I don’t like to stand in line. The scan n go app wasn’t working correctly. It allowed me to scan 3 of the 4 items I was going to purchase. The dog food wouldn’t scan. I stopped 2 managers to assist me with the problem. Both managers did try to assist me but didn’t resolve my problem. They both said that I needed to go through the register. I was upset I was unable to purchase the dog food because I didn’t have my wallet on me and the app wasn’t working. It allowed me to buy 3 things but not the 4th one. As I was walking out I stopped the the young lady at the door and ask for the GM’s name because it didn’t seem right. Also I couldn’t get the one item I needed most. The managers who assisted me came to the exit and said they tried to help me but there was nothing more they could’ve done to help. Furthermore, one of the managers said I shouldn’t harass the greeter, because he already told me about the problem. I told him I was just asking for the GM’s name. He was trying to take it somewhere else. Make it seem like I was being unkind to the greeter. It was the farthest from what was going on. My dog has been on their brand name food for 4 years. I felt a lot of different ways after all that. They apparently were ok with me leaving without the dog food. I will not go back. Good customer service is hard to find and you get what get at Sams Club Jonesboro, AR I did call the store to get the GM’s name and speak to them. That manager did give me the name of the agM but I was unable to talk to that person. I was told I would be called back. Zero
Our Sam's club is usually always clean. Even the restrooms. Thanks for that. And they must have gotten more staff in the restaurant part. The tables are being wiped off.
This Sam's Club seems bigger than the one from home. They have different foods that I wanted to get than back home Sam's Club. Not much people, you should check this one out if you're near.
Usually never have a complaint against Sam's club, but I purchased some blueberry muffins the other dayI'm allergic to nuts and there were a ton of what looked to be crushed almonds. I was terrified of eating them in fear of cross contamination.
Nice warehouse club where you can buy items in bulk. You'll need to watch carefully though as some products are actually cheaper at regular stores even though you're supposed to be getting bulk discounts. They have nice seasonal turnover and product offerings too. There is a tire center at the store but it is strictly tires, nothing like oil changes are offered. Memberships aren't expensive and can be found at discounted prices themselves through websites like Groupon. Overall not a bad store.
This place has a lot no doubt. Dogfood on bulk is priced right. I've found several good deals and they even have clothes prices right. Found a few pairs of jeans that aren't to skinny to be worn with boots. One thing they don't have - toothpicks. And I don't know why because restaurants need those!
