This place is run by a lovely family, who enjoy watching you enjoy their products. The San Carlo sandwich is highly recommended! The prices are reasonable. Some locals have been coming here for as long as it's been open. You will find a number of local community members having their daily lunch or working from the patio. They have a wonderful assortment of Italian imported goods. Their menu is delicious. they're very kind lovely helpful people. I will greatly miss working at the plaza next door Because of its access to the restaurant. .

If your Italian this is the place to go! And even if you're not, they welcome you with open arms. Family owned business in a strip mall yet when you walk through the doors you feel like you're either in New York or Boston in one of those real Italian delis and that's exactly what it is. Authentic Italian food, homemade bread and everything else. I can't resist their eggplant Parmesan and pretty much have it every time I go there either as a dinner or sandwich. Not only are the people that work there friendly and talk to literally everyone but so are the customers. It's a little deli with an East Coast feel on the west coast and I, being from Boston, always feel at home when I'm there. Food is absolutely delicious reasonably priced and you can get pretty much anything to go. When I'm in town that's my go-to place.

Love this place, EVERYTHING I had here has been fresh and delicious. I wished it were a franchise. The San Carlo Sub is the best sub I've ever had. I know that sounds nutty. The smell there makes me even more hungry. The family who own it are great, curtious, quick, trained, and entertaining. I can't say enough...now that M here in Oklahoma for years, I miss these guys the most of all the restaurant's in California. Can't wait to get back there. Italian family and high quality Itailan food.

Great authentic family run Italian deli. Excellent food, weather it's the classic Italian foods (pizza, spaghetti, lasagna, etc), cold cut sandwiches (fresh baked bread!), or Italian cookies! Don't forget the cannoli!

Super friendly! I asked about if they have a bathroom, and he said "of course we do; anything you need!" And he led me through the employee's space to obviously not a common restroom for customers, which was nice of him! Then when my order was up and I asked about paying, he said "pay after you eat!" I ate outside, but I guess since mine wasn't to go, he wasn't worried about it right away and trusted me to come back and settle up later. They're very laid back, not trying to get your money but are just in a happy mood to serve. It was great! (Oh yeah, and the food was delicious!)
