I've been waiting in line for 90 minutes so far and still have 15 people in line ahead of me, to get to the check in window! Then, after checking in, there will be another extensive wait. There are 28 Windows but only 8 in service.  BTW,  the first available appointment is in October.  This shouldn't be acceptable.

This place is disgusting. The security is rude as all hell. The people you deal with are extremely passive and not helpful and there is no tissues or hand sanitizer to be found. This place is dirty beyond belief. Better off going to Poway so you can wait at the bar next door.

I marveled as to the first step in not having an appt. was to wait in a very long line with ONE woman to help every single person in the very long line.  Then, when I saw her helping people as well from 'Line C', I knew we would be in for a ridiculous wait.  Altogether it was a 2 hours due to the inefficiency of how everything is set up.  They almost seemed proud of the fact that the normal line wrapped itself around the building!  For the amount of taxes we pay to our govt, you'd think they could hire more people to cut the wait time in half.  Absolutely Absurd!

Female security guard extremely sarcastic and rude. DO NOT ASK HER A QUESTION BECAUSE SHE WILL ANSWER BACK WITH A NASTY, RUDELY, SARCASTIC MANNER.

I'm giving this place two stars.  One of those stars is because the place is relatively clean. Otherwise, it is ridiculously slow, even by DMV standards. As many others have said, there are 29 windows, and at any given time, 23 of them sit empty. With the exception of the woman who helps you get your documents sorted in a hurry, everyone else lumbers along at a pace that seems scientifically designed to frustrate you. Making an appointment only means you can avoid the FIRST huge line, which is really just the line you wait in in order to get a chair to wait in even longer.
