We have been here a few times and the experiences have been pretty good. The drinks were good and we had no problems with the service. My issue is that they require ordering apps and dinner at the same time, which makes it seem like we are being rushed out. Tonight we tried to go here with our toddler and were told it was a 30 minutes wait even though there were 6 picnic tables available, some cleaned and some not. It was almost the entire seating under the porch area. We left disappointed. I'm sure it's just because it is the end of the season and staff is short, but we were still bummed. 3 stars because the times we have been before were fun!

Walked in and all the staff was huddled around host area talking. Once I made my way to talk to the host. We were seated waited 25 minutes for the server to come over. She was too busy deep in conversation at the host stand. Once we ordered our chicken wings came out literally 30 seconds later, at that point I knew it wasn't fresh and the chicken wings were cold. Tasted like supermarket frozen hot wings warmed up. NEVER AGAIN.

The new ownership has ruined this place. The food is terrible. Took forever to get our food. The steamed clams had sand in them. No more pizza for the kids. The only good thing is the veteran servers. Oh, and the mixed drinks are weak. Give the contract back to Marshall. He knew how to do it.

This place has always been a favorite of ours in the past years when it was just called the jetties restaurant. They had good pizza and everything was good. This year it changed to the sandbar and the food quality got worse and the prices went up. I would skip this one and go to the tavern instead.

Hilarious staff, great drinks, and fun atmosphere on the beach. Food was just right- especially the specials!
