I started with Sandbox in 9/14/2015, had no prior fitness experience and was terrible at staying motivated. Sandbox changed all of that! I attend personal sessions as well as "recess." Both are great. Sandbox caters to every person at every fitness level. They push you without being a drill sergeant. You will do activities here that are fun and no where else offers. Each recess is different so it never gets boring. I love it here :)

Having lived all around the country and trying all sorts of gyms, I knew the minute I stepped into the Sandbox it was the place for me. Sabrina is a real life superwoman with the education and experience to back it up. Her degree in dietetics and kinesiology as well as her passion for health lead the team at Sandbox with an incredible program that works. I have finally achieved the body that I've always wanted and couldn't be more happy. I owe my success to the team at Sandbox. Attending fitness recess has given me a sense of community but more than that, a pseudo family. Because Sandbox is small, there is an opportunity to build relationships with the trainers and gym goers and that's what keeps me coming back. The environment is incredibly positive and motivating! The workouts are constantly changing from day to day so I get to challenge my body in all different ways while getting a full body burn every time. I couldn't imagine my life had I not found this amazing gym!!!

I LOVE hitting Fitness Recess during my lunch break! It's at the perfect time-when I need a mid day lift and a killer workout to keep me focused through the afternoon. Mischa is a great trainer who always has a smile on her face but will get it out of you! Fitness Recess at the Sandbox has proven to be the best workout for me-I've lost both pounds and inches. The staff at the Sandbox goes far and beyond a great job at working with each person as an individual to come up with the plan to best suit their needs and also track their success. There's no pressure and crowds either like there are at bigger gyms-it's the perfect size, come as you are. I highly recommend Sandbox Training to anyone out there looking for an awesome, intimate gym for the best workout in Baton Rouge!

Sandbox is the best hidden gem in Baton Rouge! It’s small but highly effective. I go to the Fitness Recess and every day of the week there is a different trainer and a different routine. You will never feel like you are doing the same thing twice. When I first started going I went on a Living social promotion. I was properly greeted at the door by Sabrina. She like the rest of the trainers are full of enthusiasm every workout every time. They have a variety of times that fit most people’ schedules from morning and evenings. They go for the full cardio to the strength training as well. If you want to do something a bit different and you let them know they will tailor it for you the next time. Each class if filled with a variety of workouts and the customers are equally awesome. If you have worked out the past 10 years or haven’t worked out the past 10 years, you will find each class equally challenging and pushing your limits. They have cardio, body pump style, and lots of core work. The location is great and you can even go for a good run before or after the workouts if you like in the local neighborhood. If you want a personal trainer at the gym price, then Fitness Recess is the place you want to be. Get back to the Gym with Sandbox Training, it’s awesome.
