Its a nice place to relax. The water was not as clear and its rather muddy and did find many pieces of glass in the water. I wouldn't recommend for small children since your feet sink into the mudd once your in the water. Although it's a nice place just watch out for glass and your children!

Nice place to stop when you are out on the water.  There are dangers - the river has strong currents there and the hills are sandy so they​ can collaspe​ when eroded into a cliff face.   Watch your kids.

Great but when we were a kid almost drowned parents please take care of your kids the water does go in steep really fast

Very nice campground and near the river. The downside is when the wind kicks up, this place is right in the center of the action. Windiest side of the point.

Too windy, too many park rangers and sheriffs. Not dog friendly.
