I have been going to Sanford Auto Service for at least 15 years.  I thought when I bought my Honda Odyssey, I should take it to the dealership.  Well, I realized dealerships price gouge you to keep up their elaborate facilities.  I don't need that.  All I want is an honest person and reasonable pricing for repairs.  I remember several years ago, I thought I might need new brake pads.  So, I took it in and Sanford Auto said, no you are good to go for a few more years.  Any other, automotive repair place would have tried to take advantage of my naivete, and charged me for replacing brakes that were still in good use.   This is what I have been given over the last 15 years, honest, good pricing,  and I will continue for ever and a day.  And the owner Steve is awesome!!!

Steve from Sanford Auto Service was very helpful when my work van would not start. Being 2 hours from home I googled DIESEL REPAIR NEAR ME and several options appeared but Steve at Sanford was the first call because of the good rating and reviews. After having van towed to Sanford, Steve took over and kept me updated on van repairs needed. He even met me on Saturday which normally they are closed, so that I could pick up van when I had a ride to San Antonio. I would recommend Sanford to others in need of quality auto repair.

Man I can't even tell you how grateful i am for Steve and his crew of mechanics. I've been hassled back and forth between the dealerships and my insurance hoping I could get my vehicle fixed through the extended warranty I purchased. It was steve though who did some investigating for me and informed me my vehicle still had a Manufacturer Warranty on it and I could get it repaired through them.On top of that, he took care of the diagnostics service for me. I was looking for a shop that I could trust and count on and how fortunate am I to have found it in Steve and his great team at Stanford Auto. This is now My main shop for anything auto related!!! Thank you steve for being honest, caring, and honorable. Finally San Antonio has a shop and team that can be trusted and truly has your back!!!

I brought my Mini Cooper S to Sanford for a front wheel alignment. (After slamming into a curb). The mechanic was extremely knowledgeable of, not just cars in general, but of the Mini Cooper. This is hard to find. He was prompt and efficient. The owner was personable, polite, and very willing to work with me if I needed any other work. I have already recommended this shop to several other people and will be taking my other vehicles there for future service needs.

I called several places getting quotes for a repair and they were the best price I found but also reliable. I will forever recommend them!! Thank you for your incredible customer service! I’ll be back if I need more repairs :)
