As an adult orthodontic patient, my biggest concern was the time I’d need to spend in braces to correct a significant overbite and straighten my teeth. Dr. Sanford and his exceptional staff did an amazing job! In just nine months time, I have the smile I’ve always wanted. I applaud their efficiency, professionalism and care.

Worse experience ever. 2 years over 6k and my bite is terrible and he totally messed up my retainer which shifted my teeth in a lopsided way. I'm now at a new ortho and need to spend another 4K to fix - my new ortho was horrified. I'm telling all my friends in Wilton and CT to beware. I have the right Dr. Sanford - read the reviews below and can see he tries to deflect. He's so nice until he messes up then ignores you. My teeth were better before I saw him. Please be careful. He has poor reviews online and asked all patients to give him good reviews - they even texted me a few times to badger me. Now I know why. Fake good reviews. I'm devastated.

Oh my goodness. As an adult orthodontic patient I had never known the discomfort from braces on my teeth growing up. At the age of 45 I had developed terrible TMJ and Dr. S fixed me up in 18 months. Living in Fla now I need to get a Dr. S tune-up while visiting the NE. Such a great experience. Friendly, professional and thorough,  Dr. Sanford and his staff provide the answer to any patient's needs.

My daughter had braces for two years. Dr Sanford told me she did not need a butterfly before the braces went on to open her mouth more. After two years of braces for her, keeping appointments, and the inevitable pain that braces cause, her result when the braces were removed was poor. He knew they looked poorly and simply told me that his job was only to correct her bite and not to improve her smile. He did call later to apologize for the silly remark and was accountable for the poor result. That, however, did nothing to give my daughter back the two years invested in what turned out to be a botched job. He offered to do them over again but she felt discouraged and I no longer trusted him. Keep looking for better results for your child.
