Authentic Japanese cuisine that is hard to find in San Francisco- specifically the chirashi dish. You know it’s good when you see Japanese natives dining in! Food is served extremely quickly and the service is pretty good. Ask to sit in the back for a quieter and more intimate experience.
We been here two times and it doesn’t disappoint! We went both time without reservation. Food is amazing! Loved the chirashi and dynamite. Edamame were cold. Service is good. Would recommend
Been coming here for years for the nigiris. Fresh, fresh, fresh. Quality didn’t decline after covid. Personally not fond of rolls with too much going on so today I decided to try a traditional roll. Loved how thin the rice is around the roll. These people know what they are doing. Highly recommend.
The service was mediocre. I think the food was okay. Sushi was pretty fresh but not exceptional. I ordered the sea urchin and it wasn’t very sweet, had an unpleasant aftertaste. The tempura batter was too thick. I wouldn’t recommend the udon or the cold soba with the dipping sauce.
Very small place. My husband gave me a look what we are doing here but once the food came out. Wooow. Very delicious and fresh rolls. We love it. If you enjoy in good sushi you will not make a mistake coming here
Came here for lunch and was pleased with the results. Plenty of selection and all of it tasted fresh. Seating is a little tight but not bad. Service good but could be better given the crowd. I know there are lots of choices nearby, but this is a good spot, give it a try!
Delightful lunch! We ordered the miso soup, grilled squid, sashimi and sushi platter and tempura don. Except for the sashimi which is ok but not exceptional, the soup, sushi, squid and the tempura rice were on point! Service is adequate, not over the top but we got our requests attended to when we asked. Overall good. I would visit again.
If you wanna try authentic Nigiri for an affordable price in SF, this is the best place. I have been here several times. I always enjoy Omakase. This is chef's recommended Nigiri sushi plate. Their inside is not fancy, but I'm sure you can taste real Japanese Nigiri.
If there is more than 5 stars for the food quality & freshness I would give it to them I love love love the Sushi OMG it is the best sushi I had ever in my life. It was my first time going to this place and I will definitely go back. The place is very clean & smells good. The staff in general are nice. The food was a little bit late but that’s fine they were really busy I understand. Do not hesitate to give it a try
A nice, quiet, clean sushi restaurant. It’s a lot pricier than I expected. I paid $60 for 1 person on lunch, including the 20% tip. The sushi was fresh and prepared to order and I got a lunch bento box of teriyaki salmon. The portions were average. Nothing overly special here and minimal choices of rolls. I’d come here if other better options were too far away. It feels a little overpriced.
