Great, great, great restaurant. Loved it. Delicious sushi and cocktails. Genial staff. It is one the rarest US restaurants that I love. Good food is a problem in LA, Vegas or Miami. And when suddenly you come here and taste anything they cook - it is pure wow.
We only had breakfast here once. The service is excellent. However the food was lukewarm when we got it. There was also a service charge in addition to tips so overall it was not worth the price we paid.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: No
I really enjoyed the ambiance and the service was great. The food itself didn't impress though, I picked from the sushi menu and it was good but for the price I think there are better value options.
Had breakfast, frittata was greasy and they used old mushrooms, couldn’t even finish it. The avocado toast had overpowering lemon not lime flavor that was completely out of place. It was prepared to look nice but the food quality was poor to terrible. And as a hotel restaurant, it probably goes without saying but it was over priced.
I’ve been here a few times and each time it never disappoints. Food is incredible, service is top-notch and the overall experience is 10 out of 10. Definitely going back any time I’m back in SF.
The atmosphere in the hotel was expected to be somewhat nicer and I also expected the food to be a little better. It was bad just sort of mainstream. Totally down for a hotel restaurant but not to go out of the way for.Food: 3/5
One of the best dining experiences I've had. Perfect food paired with talented and courteous staff made for a fantastic evening.Food: 5/5
We spent first night at the bar and second night dining and the bar after. The food was great with the exception of the Anzu roll which was just a average tasting sushi roll. The filet mignon was cooked perfectly and melted in your mouth. It was David’s first weekend bartending for Anzu. He was awesome but seemed to be thrown in there without being properly trained on their system. Also what kind of establishment has the only bartender leave the bar to take orders and serve drinks at the tables? Kudos to David for a job well done!
So good. We tried nearly the whole menu tapas style with a group and love every bite!Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: No
Good quality Japanese food. Slightly expensive but not bad if you want to eat in a relaxing place.
