This was not only THE WORST customer service I’ve had in my entire life but THE WORST Human interaction I’ve ever had in my 31 years of living on this planet earth. 

I went in to get my sales license for my new job at 8:45am (Mind you I just moved from Ohio and I’m new to all things paperwork in California.) the young lady said to me “you only put your last two years of employment. You need to write down your last 4 years. You didn’t do this right. You didn’t read this properly”. 

I fully understand what she means but her verbiage was HORRIBLE. Her sentence structure made it seem like the reason I did the paper work wrong is because I’m an idiot. 

After that she gave me THE BIGGEST AND LONGEST **SIGHHHHHH**  I have ever heard. So me trying to be nice I say “are you having a long day?”  And she says “my day is just getting started...”

It made me feel so horrible I literally wanted to walk out of the DMV and forget about getting my sales license. She made me feel so unwelcome I didn’t even want to walk back up to her the second time I had to head back to her station. I wanted to go to a different employee.

I will forever remember this interaction. It was appalling.

I forgot my appointment yesterday. Then today, without appointment, I get there on 7:55 AM and get my things done on around 9:30 AM. It's not bad at all. If you did not make an appointment, you'd  better get there early in the morning to avoid staying there for 3+ hours.

Horrible service! Except for one of the ladies there, If you treat people nicely they will be nice to you back. Common sense. I understand you guys can get overwhelmed but check your attitude! Jeez. I've been to the DMV at Westminster, excellent customer service compared to the Santa Ana one.. This lady got impatient and frustrated with one girl because she asked a question and the woman never gave her an answer and told her with attitude " oh well figure it out". It's a job, be professional.

I made an appointment,  arrived early to find a poorly designed parking lot with very limited space. After 10 minutes of tedious bumper to bumper driving I got lucky.  Went inside with time to spare only to realize that the apt line was backed up . You would think may e 5 10 ppl max . No way , the line was as long as the non appointment line . So I'm now 11 minutes late to mt apt before they give me a ticket . Waste of gas and time .oh and may I add on my way out two fine gentlemen proceed to smoke in the middle of the exit. I had to drive around them to exit as they looked at me like I'm the fool. They didn't have much to say after I had word with them but that's should be your security's job not mine . Check your cameras I left about 5 minutes ago.

This is the worst DMV in Orange County:
With an appointment, the wait time for a behind the wheel test is 3 hours.
They are under staffed and people wait there helplessly for their names to be called.
It is small, dull, and crowded like a prison.
Wait time in your car in the car que before the behind the wheel test( when you finish all your official documents- after a 2 hours wait- is about 30 minutes).
Stay away from the examiner " Norma" even if you had to cancel your driving test. I previously read 2 yelp reports about her, and thought that it was unfair to judge her based on someone else bad experience with her, however, every word they said in their bad review is true: this examiner has a negative attitude the moment she steps into your car. She yells at you if you do any mistake ( like backing off) and at the end, after you fail or pass, she will write mistakes for you that you have never done. I read those before my test in reviews about her, and didn't take them seriously. At the end, I had to be stuck with her and her negative vibes in my car. Please save yourself and your time by going to another DMV!
