I DON'T KNOW IF IT'S INSURANCE FRAUD OR JUST INCOMPETENCE, BUT WHY WOULD YOU GO TO A PHARMACY THAT CAN'T MEASURE CORRECTLY?

My wife picked up an amoxicillin suspension prescription for our 1 year old. The prescription called for 10 days of 2 doses at day at 5 mL each dose. What they gave us ended up being 15 mL (1.5 days, 3 doses) short. We were very careful to properly administer each dose according to schedule so even if we estimate a generous .3 mL human measuring error per dose, there's no way we should've been 15 mL short. It became very clear to my wife, who is experienced in making amoxicillin suspension as a veterinary technician, that the staff at the Santa Clarita Medical Center failed to add the correct amount of water to the suspension.  After calling them they unapologetically said they'd have to give us a whole new bottle and charge us our co-pay a second time....for their mistake! We can't tell if it's insurance fraud or just incompetence, but either way we will not be returning to this pharmacy.

This Pharmacy was very rude and unprofessional. I asked for the person's name who assisted me and they refused to give it to me. Asked "what did I want?" I would never do business with this Pharmacy.
