Had to use this parking garage to stay at the Skirvin Hotel. Wasn't as bad as I was expecting. Parked very close the the elevator, that takes you to the ground floor about 200 feet from the hotel front door. Minimum charge is 2.00 dollars maximum charge for overnight 20.00 dollars.
Immediately got to the top of the parking garage with 3 friends and an 8 month old baby for a small photo session and was immediately addressed by security and sent to the bottom. The security had no tolerance to explain and talk us through the reasons why; very short and assertive to send us down. After we had asked for a refund, the security told us we could receive one at the bottom and since we were held up by the security past their 10 minute grace period, we had to pay to not be there. Absolutely terrible hospitality and no grace for those of us who didn’t know there was a “rule or regulation” for our visit there.
False signage, overnight stay is posted as 10$ maximum.... ticket clock resets at 3 am, so it charged me 20$ for 13 hours in the building. When i called they told me that they charge 10$per 24 hrs, from 3 am to the next 3 am. Machine had reciept disabled, went into the office on site, was given a post-it and told to write my email and exit time, and 'corperate' would email me a reciept later. Am reporting to BBB, considering further action. Just be aware, they will charge you for 47hrs59minutes, if you park evening to morning...update, its been 3 weeks, and i still have not recieved a reciept, or any other communication from them.
I PAID to park on a Sat afternoon when nothing was going on downtown. I wanted to take a few pictures of my son at the top. A rude security guy pointed out that it is "private property". I paid my fee. If you don't want people taking pictures then post a sign before you enter the garage. We didn't put up a fuss but I was aggravated that as we got to the top a photographer and clients were just leaving and as we were leaving another photographer was taking pics but he pinpointed us. Don't waste your money.
Paid to park like everyone else. I got out of my car and was told to leave. Literally standing by my own vehicle. No refund. No explanation. EXTREMELY unprofessional "rent a cop" that needs to learn some professional curtesy. I did nothing wrong and he had no explanation besides saying it was private property. Make him stand at the entrance to warn people before they pay and enter. Well, according to the Skirvin Hotel, I was allowed to park there. So do not park here if you are staying at the hotel. The hotel has another lot you can use.
Paid to park and to go into Bricktown plus look at the city view. Security from a building kicked me and other customers out. Saying that we can't look at the city view and take pictures. I said I was also going to Bricktown. But they were rude and kicked me out. I will never park in this structure again.
Extremely disappointed there is now some dude running off the photographers saying the garage is private property. Total BS IMO. I pay the fee just like anyone else and therefore shouldn't be run off anymore than they'd run off any other vehicle parked there. If you're worried about liability issues, have the guy get waivers signed instead of running people off
Very rude when asking for a receipt. Their machine will take your credit card no problem, but when asking for a receipt they don't want to give one.
The receipt printer was not working, I called and requested one but no response!
If I’m paying to park I should be able to take pictures
