Story

Sapori D’Italia offers the freshest deli and prepared foods in Hamden. Located across the street from Rev. Daniel J. Barry Jr. High School, our variety of fresh imported meats and cheeses, Italian specialty products, pizza, sub sandwiches, gourmet food and side dishes keeps locals returning again and again. Our sandwiches and pizzas are enhanced by making our own dough and baking our own breads in house, including Italian pastries that make for a delicious breakfast or sweet treat.

Many of our imported goods are items you cannot find outside of Italy. We remain committed to providing these unique finds to our long time customers without marking up the prices like many new high end grocery stores do. We’re just happy to be sharing our heritage and favorite items with you.
