Whitney is in a totally different league than the chain donut shops.  Their donuts are freshly made (not those prepared elsewhere and the trucked to the shop and passed off as freshly made).  They also feature all of the usual donut shop favorite such as muffins, bagels, breakfast sandwiches, cookies, etc. You should not miss their apple cider donuts which are exceptional.  They also have a counter with serviced by waitstaff.   Other offerings include sandwiches, salads, soups, etc.  One can also get items to go.  Staff are friendly and the shop is very clean - also very important to me.  The one downside is parking (especially at peak business times) Please keep a good thing going - great donuts - well worth the trip!!!

With two drive through/eat in coffee shops so close together, if you're looking for consistently delicious food, Whitney Donut is where you want to be. You may pay a little more for some things, but, particularly with baked goods, you won't be disappointed.
