I have been a regular customer for 6 years at the various Indian food businesses on this site. I have eaten in Indian restaurants all over the world, including third world countries. But I have NEVER experienced such amateur and disinterested service in a restaurant. Language problems abound in these businesses, but when waiters speak so little English that half the entrees were never ordered from the kitchen, you’re SUNK! My wife got her entree, I got absolutely nothing! All I had asked was to substitute lamb chops for fish on a tandoori mixed grill. They had brought out four chops with our appetizer. This was suspicious, but we asked and were told the grill was still coming. It wasn’t. An insincere apology accompanied by a small unwanted gratis bowl of rice pudding later, and I went home hungry, and made myself a sandwich. Our evening ruined. I know things go wrong sometimes. I know I asked something slightly unusual. But they knew enough English to spice up the appetizer to super hot, and to stick the bill on the table instantly. Why am I even writing this? They don’t care, and you probably won’t believe my complaint anyway. Well at least I know I’ve tried. Back to Suffern or Ridgewood Indian restaurants. GIVE THIS PLACE A MISS! They charge high prices for average food, with abysmal service. They don’t deserve the one star.

Ordered takeout - Afghani chicken, naan, and Badani kheer (rice pudding with almonds. The delivery was slower than I would have liked (50 minutes), but the food was hot and really tasty. Great sauces.

Found this place on yelp. Ordered the rara bhuna goat and the chicken vindaloo. Goat was undercooked and the chicken vindaloo had a lot of food coloring and tasted like tomato puree with hot chili. The white rice was 'crunchy' because it was scraped off the bottom of the bowl from the lunch buffet leftovers. Probably wont use the '15% off $30' on your next order coupon.

Food is delicious! As we were enjoying our delicious meal, the employees were setting up for the lunch buffet for the next day. I wish they would have done it later.

It was just ok... the curry was ok, however the chicken tikka, there were raw uncooked bits. The restaurant was quiet, could have checked the chicken properly. The service was good. Im sure they can fix this matter..
