Saratoga Springs Utah police department. This place is as crooked as they come no surprise considering they're the police in general but this department in particular is outstandingly devious and lazy. They would rather blame a crime on an innocent person then actually find the person who actually committed the crime. Just for the sake of closing a case and patting themselves on the back. It's disgusting to see people who are supposed to protect us behave this way and be just as bad as the criminals!

Officer Danny Rapkay pulled me over on Sunday, Dec. 10 for "FAIL TO YEILD OR STOP UPON APPROACHING EM." That isn't true at all. I was in the right lane, the police car was on the right shoulder; there was line of cars in the fast (left) lane, so I couldn't get over, I slowed down as I passed the police car, and the vehicle he had already pulled over. Immediately after passing him, he turned on sirens and lights as he pulled me over. When he got to my window, he started accusing me of not signalling and trying to run from him! After explaining myself, he proceeded to ask me for my information. He silently examined my information and insurance, then for an unknown reason, he asked if me and my 15 year old brother if we had any weapons on our persons. I told him no with a scoff; then he commanded me to place my hands on the steering wheel saying, "For yours and my safety, put your hands on the wheel." What had I done that provoked this officer into assuming I was a threat? Then, he unlawfully asked for my brothers and another kid who was riding with me for their information! As a 17 year old kid, I was very confused on why the officer had to be so rude and demanding. Now I'm left with a bad experience, and of course, a ticket. Someone should do something about these power-hungry Saratoga Springs Officers.
