Jamie at sassafras is amazing. this is a very home-like atmosphere with amazing staff great service and even better liquor. definitely the best spot in town for a drink with friends ps try the cheese bread best bar food ever!

Pretty funky place with a nice unique menu. I got pizza and enjoyed it. They have a nice loaded bar and good selection of brews. They make it a point to mention no outside food or drink through various signs throughout. It's located next to historic Carson hot springs and a new brewery. I would like to go back and try a few more menu items.

Service from Mario was fabulous. Food was excellent. Black & blue fondue shrimp was to die for. Ham & brie, shrimp Louie salad, fried cheese cheeseburger & baked salmon all wonderful. Highly recommend.

Sorry really wanted to like it. The cheese loaf sounded great, but was not cooked enough. The luau pizza was just strange. We got our order to go so were unable to have the order corrected. Nice employees

Perhaps we caught the staff on a bad night but the service was basically nonexistent and the food took exceptionally long to come. I was incredibly excited to try this place, based on reviews and word of mouth, but was really let down. The prices are also absurd.
