Very nice area, walk bike or just sit.  Long canal with assorted nature amongst it. Several lg swamps to search for birds of prey.  Extremely clear water everywhere. Camping & dog area & 8 ' sidewalks.  Flat easy walking, watch out for messy dog owners!! A lot of sun and no bugs.

Well overall it was quite a moist experience I will say that my wife and myself mainly my wife stayed very wet our entire time there which was definitely one of our goals tell lots of wildlife very beautiful scenery if you like kayaking there are some little streams that lead into hidden swamp areas that are only accessible by water which are absolutely gorgeous would definitely recommend

I'm pretty sure it was here that my school attending a Cicil War Reenactment and it was excellent - very intricate and informative, and an overall good experience. It can be extremely hot out there.

Wonderful place and it was a very enjoyable experience. We went during the week so it wasn't very crowded and at night it was peaceful and quiet. We definitely would recommend it.

Recently completed Indian Hills Recreation Area is located off Savannah Road between Indian River Drive and US1.  The area boasts picnic areas, walking trails and a trail around the perimeter of the newly expanded retention pond with workout stations.  Parking is located on both sides of Savannah Road: on the south side and on the north side behind the animal control building.  Both parking areas are accessible via a walking path that crosses Savannah Road. Beautifully landscaped and hidden away, it is uncrowded and lightly used so far, but as the news of the renovations become more widely known, I expect this park to become a favorite of locals.
