love this store. i resell and I have never had a problem with jewelry. I actually buy all my jewelry from this store. the selection is great and the girl that does it is a sweet heart and very knowledgeable. I have gotten very nice pieces from there. The prices are good. and it is much better than the other savers. the only complaint i would have is the manager at the register she is a nightmare. no customer service skills but the front workers are very nice.

Okay, not very good. This is the second time I've come to this store from out of town. This store is in a relatively distressed part of town, so I was expecting the donations to be on the low end of the quality spectrum. What I wasn't expecting was to find super jacked up prices for this low end merchandise. I live in Hampton, NH and frequent the savers daily. One example is a krups Espresso Machine. I typically pay around 3.99-5.99 for them. There was an older one here for 17.99. This type of thing seems to be the norm in this region which I do not understand. You would think that the prices in the poorest parts of the country would be the cheapest, but it's the total opposite. I think savers needs to re-evaluate their business model. I can't see how this works. Also, clearly a lot of the employees appear to have employment barriers, but you.don't have to be super intelligent to be friendly.

The jewelry is being stolen by somebody "supposedly" pricing the jewelry. I've seen some beautiful items that were to be priced. And when asking management where the items are and when the items are coming out, the items are nowhere to be found. The big "smoke screen" is pricing some costume jewelry high with printouts from eBay making it look like they are doing their jobs, while their husbands/partners in crime are alerted to come and pick up the nice items. This is a GRAVE concern!!!!!!! Corporate needs to look into this.

While it's true that all Savers are pretty much the same, Savers rules, so that's a compliment *and* this one is particularly cool. The one in West Roxbury is also stellar, but it's far. If you're out that way, def. check it out. I got props here for photo shoots, such as a long, blonde wig (!), tons of eclectic sunglasses, and accessories galore. OK, back to this one. It's huge and extremely organized. It's clear that the employees love their jobs, as well as Halloween. A few years ago, the Halloween section was absolutely fantastic. It looked like a movie set. I hope this artistry is still at work. Sometimes a trip to Savers is overwhelming. Give yourself plenty of time. Get a cart. Yes, they're way too big, but it's necessary. The clothing is organized, but keep your eyes open for a misplaced shirt or skirt. Ensure you check your wanted garments for wear. No, I'm not suggesting the clothes are sketchy. You just don't wanna ruin your mood by noticing a stain when you get home. I know I'm ignoring the furniture/home goods section. I wasn't super impressed. That's one of the great aspects of thrift stores; since they're always changing, you don't know what you'll find. Back to clothes before I cease pontificating. Make sure you check out the belt/hat section. There's a chance you may find a funky purse, as I did. Don't poop out at the finish. After you've gone through the "Would I really wear this?" stage, try *everything* on. BTW, I don't remember the dressing room being gross. I did have to return a few things; total pain in the arse. Yeah, not everyone loves their job here. Be sure to check out the men's section. Their clothes are great, too! I noticed old school "GAP" hats-the coolest. Just make sure you clean well. Have fun!
