I have had numerous experiences with the Dawson Family through many services and I'm never disappointed with the conscientiousness of the entire staff and the professionalism they demonstrate. They have always handled every detail for our family with perfection when we were distraught or confused about anything with the services or procedures. They're outstanding at what they do.

Amazing staff and facility. The services provided by Sax-Tiedemann are one-of-a-kind during a time of need. Welcoming, caring, and compassionate are words I would use to describe such an astounding funeral home.

I think it's a shame to what I experienced first hand from a friend's relative's passing...They chose Sax Tiedemann and their family has used them (over 6-7 times) in the past over the years... I was appauled when learning after only within 1-2 weeks after the person's death, Sax Tiedemann's personal family staff member/son-in-law was calling pressuring them to collect the balance?! The "employee" stated that my friend needed to pay the balance before the Sax Tiedemann family member left for vacation and that they need to "take out a loan, borrow the money from someone, or do whatever they have to do, because it needed to be paid now!" and that it can't wait any longer....My friend said, "my God, we just buried my relative and I am still grieving my loss & they needed the funeral home to just work with them until their lawyer could instruct them on how to access money from the family members account that passed away."  After finding out that this funeral home had called him 3 times, I find this abhorrent and disgusting behavior!!! I believe other reviews can say they give them, or, other funeral homes 4 or 5 stars, because why wouldn't you treat most people nice when you're usually collecting approx. ($10,000-$12,000 +) or, upwards to over (15k) for each funeral?*#@!!!  I'd say that's a pretty good living that funeral homes are making...It just proves the fact to me like my father used to say, funeral homes are a license to steal and prey upon people when they are at their saddest, grieving and not thinking rationally. And, with a good salesperson working for a funeral home, the possibilities are endless!! Just bring your blank check or credit/debit card....What a better time for a business to take advantage of an individual or family, but in a time of loss...😔 So, thoroughly maddened at the business pressure tactics that this supposed "close-knit town community" funeral home has utilized....by stooping to the utmost lowest levels!!! Just wondering how many other families they have done this to also???
P.S....I would give using "Sax Tediemann" some serious consideration the next time you're in need of the loss of a family member...as, I wouldn't give them one dime, or wait, one penny~ by helping contribute to their high "lifestyle"...

And, like the old saying goes, fool me once, shame on me...Fool me twice, shame on YOU! SHAME ON YOU,

Worsest thing to do once a loved one passes is to prepare to bury them but under such difficult circumstances Sax Tiedman Funeral home was truly a blessing from Jehovah. They didnt charge me for the services since it was my baby. They said they dont charge babies. That burden was lifted and I was able to grieve without worries. Thank you so much. Although this was almost 2 years ago, I will never forget your kindness, humanity, and compassion. Thank you.

The entire staff dedicated themselves to making sure our family was comfortable and consoled. I've planned services in the past with other places, but I've never had it go as easily and smoothly as with this staff. If the need arose again, I know who I would turn to for the arrangements.
