Dr Bruce Scarborough is originally from Jackson, Mississippi where he graduated from Forest Hill High School in 1979. He attended the University of Mississippi and graduated in 1983 with a degree in Biological Sciences. He obtained his DMD from the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry in 1989. He then completed a General Practice Residency at University Medical Center which gave him broader experience in hospital-based dentistry.
He has been in private practice in Natchez since 1990 and has loved every minute of it!
Dr Scarborough is involved in several dental organizations including the American Dental Association, the Mississippi Dental Association (where he serves as Chair of the Council of Supportive Services), and the Academy of General Dentistry (where he serves on the Technology and Web Usage Council). He also serves as Past-President and Treasurer of the Mississippi Academy of General Dentistry. He achieved Fellowship status in the AGD in 2001.
He is a parishioner of Trinity Episcopal Church and serves as coordinator of Adult Christian Education.
His hobbies include playing one of his homemade guitars, photography, golfing (though not well), fishing (no comment) and woodworking.
He is most proud, however, of his two children: favorite daughter Ginnie and favorite son Steve.
