Great ambience in this place. Nice outdoor seating, although when the band plays, it's pretty loud out there. The tables have umbrellas and unless there's a lot of wind they tend to work well in light rain. The patio is right off route 228 behind some thin bushes so it can get a bit loud at times. Food is fantastic. The fish and the steaks are fresh and seasoned well but not too much. My steaks have always been cooked exactly how I asked, and they're willing to be flexible with the menu items. Friendly and attentive servers, too. It's an upscale restaurant and the prices reflect that. The food isn't prohibitively expensive, though, and it's worth every penny.

Loved the diversity of the menu. The pan-fried scallops were delicious as was the almond kale! A friendly and accommodating waitstaff; a beautiful New England setting to top it all off.

Stopped here when we were staying in town camping over the weekend. We met the owner, Lee, and he was very fun and nice to talk with! We had ordered pizza down the street and were waiting for it to be done when Lee told us we could eat it there since they don't serve food. We brought our pizza back to eat and had more drinks. We played some pool and had a good time. Will definitely be back next time in Leadville!

You want the best food, service and atmosphere? There is no restaurant better than the Scarlet Oak Tavern. Being a real estate agent, I refer anyone moving to the South Shore to go and check out my favorite place to eat! Great wine selection, steaks & chops and a mussel's appetizer that is out of this world. 5 out 5 from me!

Nice atmosphere and good service. overall very good. The calamari was a little too crispy. Caesar salad was good. My main course meal was the meatloaf wrapped in bacon. It was very good. The only issue i had was that i had to be careful not to eat the fatty parts in the bacon. I would have liked to see more options on the dinner menu. A little noisy inside.
