Instead of a three, I wish I could simultaneously give this place a five and a two. These are possibly the most mixed feelings of awesome and perplexed i've yet had about a club in pittsburgh. 

On the good side, on the Friday I rolled in, they had a bass going upstairs, and a house and disco set (i came to see this one) going down stairs, and both Djs were playing very well. That's about the holy grail of club going, because in addition to the music being good, you can bring your friends regardless of what they like. The sound system sounded good upstairs, and down, and the atmosphere was on point.

That's the good, now the bad. It is impossible to get a glass of beer here. And by that I don't mean the service is slow. I don't mean i don't like their craft selection. I mean there were physically no taps anywhere in the building that I could find (and i asked a bartender too). I stuck my head behind the counter to look. In a city that's loves it's beer as much as pgh, it is shocking to me that there is a joint anywhere in this town with no taps. My routine at a club is always two beers and a shot, I was lost as to what to get outside of that, and ended up not ordering anything. Additionally, they have a posted dress code. Other places that have dress codes include prep schools and churches. It didn't affect what i wore, and I can see the no work boots and the hygiene  policy, but it applies to sone totally random stuff like sneakers. It makes the place seem really stuffy when you walk up on it and the door man stops to check to see if your attire is classy enough. 

Minus that stuff, this place would be an instant five. It's just the lack of my preferred drinks and the dress code smother the vibe a bit.
