I only rated it a one because I couldn’t rate it a zero. First of all my burger didn’t come with tomato’s( Of which I ordered  ).  Second of all, my lettuce was not centered on the burger. And finally, the burger is suppose to have a radius of 2 inch’s. I ONLY GOT 1.5 INCH’S! This is outrageous! NEVER again will I eat at steak and shake. I like how they call it steak and shake, more like stack meat to make a burger and eat a shake. I haven’t had a milk shake that thick since I forgot to take the milk out of the car after a month during the summer. The meat is so thin it looks like a burger got flattened by a semi truck. I would rather eat cardboard than their burgers.

Ok, Let me set this in. The employees are polite. At no point did i feel unwelcome. However when you wait a half hour for food and another half hour just to pay for it . It really speaks to the ability of the Store manager to run a business . I watched 2 groups of customer straight walk out because they were tired of waiting. 

The Food is great, but Staff needs to be addressed for the benefit of the employees and customers

I only ordered a small chocolate milk shake. All the cars ahead of me were getting thier food within a few minutes. I waited at the window for over 10 minutes when the girl told me to pull up and wait. I said it's taking this long for a small milkshake? She said we are really busy. Funny cause the girl that takes care of the drive thru just stood there the whole time. Why couldn't she make the milkshake? Is a shame how lazy all these fast food employees are today. Are they just there to get a welfare check? I'm seriously asking cause I never encountered sick lazy people in my life. What ever happened to do the best job you possibly can no matter what it is? This is our future in these kids people...it's sad what's going to become of this country with these lazy people.

Not thrilled about the food...it's "good",but I personally think for what you get..it's a bit pricy. The fries suck! 
We do love however the milkshakes! 
During the week they have 1/2 off any drink/milkshakes. We get them twice a mth...3 shakes for under $5. Definitely with it!

The regular disfunctionality of the staff at this location is borderline performance art at this point. When we entered the restaurant one of the waitresses was screaming at the guy on the grill for putting cold mushrooms on someone's burger that required grilled mushrooms. While this was happening, customers were leaving with full plates of food. Ultimately, two waiters began handling the tables... Then one disappeared causing the other waiter to go into an overwhelmed tailspin ending in him whisper screaming to the ineffective manager "YOU CAN'T LEAVE ME OUR HERE WITH TEN TABLES ALONE!" 

All in all I've never had a good experience here, but I still come back. Why? Because it's kind of like a real-life Dick's Last Resort, except the staff is mean to each other, not the customers... and you get the wrong food... if you ever get your food.
