This was a lovely, relaxing trip around the lakes and canals. Before getting on the boat, there were children waiting and one began to cry while the other seemed unable to control the volume of his voice. This made me reconsider the tour because I didn't want to spend my time listening to screaming children. Then a miracle... an employee advised the mother that if the children couldn't be quiet they would not be allowed on the boat. It wouldn't be fair to the other passengers. What!?!? It was the greatest thing I've ever heard. Love that guy!!!!!

My family was very excited to go on the boat tour, however the man at the desk made it clear he did not want my business because I had brought my children. He emphasized that the sun was hot and that the life jackets may be uncomfortable for the children. This is obviously all true, but we drove to Winter Park to do this on the pretense that it was family friendly. The truth is, it is not. He warned us that if the children were too noisy he would refund our money and have us get off the boat. Are they honest, yes. Is it frustrating to have brought the family to a tour that is billed as family friendly to find out were were being discouraged from going, yes. Is it a nice tour, I am sure it is. However, I did not get to find out. I do not encourage families to attempt this tour.

My family which includes 3 children ages 12, 7, and 4 had a great time on this tour.  The guides were friendly and knowledgeable.  They even entertained the 12 year old who manages to complain about everything 😉

Very enjoyable. Another activity to add to my list when I have company front up north.

Loved the captain of boat, beautiful views of canals, very pleasant atmosphere... Relaxing and enjoyable
