Founded in north St. Louis in 1939, the family-owned grocery company has grown to include nearly 100 stores in five states: Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin and Iowa.

This is accessible store.  It is easy from public transit and staff is helpful.  When I asked for help in the produce department.  The young man assisted me was pleasant, professional and helped me get what I needed.  The man was stocking, and acted like he wanted to work hard, and treated me with courtesy and respect.  If a dictionary needed a picture to describe good customer service.  This young man was the picture definition!
I was in and out of the store in an efficient time.

They have a little of everything, but it's only about 1/3 to 1/4 the size of a regular grocery store. It's a good place to get some essentials if you are in the area, but I'm not sure it's a go to store for all of your needs.

The prices seem a little higher too, but you're paying for the convenience. I'll probably be back but it won't be my primary source for groceries.

It's almost a destination store. I'm sure it serves a lot of people well, but it's kind of a place you go to say you've been or to grab a few quick items.

9pm. Hungry. Just need a sandwich. Didn't want to go to a restaurant. Options were slim.  Went culinaria wandered around. Employee Lamar was observant enough to see we were looking for something quick to eat. Lamar told us the deli can make a cold sandwich.  Dilemma solved.   Thanks Lamar!

Breakfast cafe is convenient and cost effective. Steam tray selection or eggs to order. Long checkout line can seem daunting, but it moves fast. Great beer selection!

An interesting downtown grocery store. If you're downtown, do try it. Great for reasonable breakfast if you're on the go.
