School and Tutors on Wheels offers free Adult English Literacy tutoring in Suburban Cook and DuPage Counties in Illinois
School and Tutors on Wheels removes barriers to community integration for non-native English speakers through one-on-one English literacy tutoring, cultural mentoring and transition support. We empower our students by helping them attain language and communication skills and cultural awareness so that they and their families can become part of the community, not apart from it.
The purpose of School and Tutors on Wheels is to help people live their lives at their potential, break the poverty cycle, improve their overall life situations, and more fully participate in community life by overcoming everyday obstacles caused by inadequate understanding and command of written and spoken English.
