Be advised this Landenburger totally misdiagnosed the condition of the dog. AND he did not give me an option to investigate further or give a diignostic exam! I had concerns about my dogs condition and brought her in as it looked like her wound might have gotten infected . The doctor checks her and sends me away saying come back in 10 days with my dog for a follow up office visit, charging me 129.00 for a 5 min office visit, a few pills and eyedrops ! I then felt ok the dog must be ok and go home But i have to go back the next day because dog in MUCH worse shape! He says leave the dog here . Later i get a call saying sorry your dog passed come get the body.  I will return to write more about my terrible experience at this place. I would like to take him to court for negligence and him pay me back 800.00 ( I paid to adopt the young dog ).. By the way the man who is the doctor is unkept and looks like he sleeps in a van from the 1960s. I got frightened when i was in the room alone with him. To top it all off is his entitled attitude, he walks around frowning like no one understands how spectacular he really is. Sorry nothing spectacular or even decent going on that i see. I posted 2 photos of my puppy. One with her beautiful green eyes and the other showing her destroyed eye because of the Oozing infection that he did not treat before she died. I don't know if they'll show the "after "picture but his negligence, has given me nightmares. I cry thinking of the pain she went through before her death.

My boyfriend and I were recently in NY camping with our dog Aerys. While hiking, Aerys had an allergic reaction to either an insect bite or some other flora, and broke out into hives. His entire body was covered in hives, and his face was severely swollen. I called Schroon River Animal Hospital and they were able to see me immediately (it took us 30 minutes to get there). We were able to take him back right away, and the vet took care of him by giving him a shot of Benadryl. We saw results immediately. I would recommend this place to anyone. I'm sad that we live 6 hours away, otherwise we would use this place as our regular vet. They were so caring and compassionate--the receptionist took our information ahead of time so that we could be seen right away. She was patient with me (I was obviously upset) and was very friendly. The vet (Bryan) was great and took great care of our little guy. Thank you so much!

Very nice staff and pleasant. Our dog has IVDD and although they have been helpful, it's really frustrating to go see the doctor for 3 minutes and all he says is, "well, let's see what he looks like in two more weeks." and then charges me $50 for that.

The staff was rude and the doctor demeaning in front of other customers. I will never go back again.
