I have loved coming here for years. The vibe of downtown WG is the best. Since all the stuff happened 2 years ago, they still do not allow people to walk through their section of the hotel. The walk up window with all the flavors showing still works nicely. It is Hershey brand ice cream, so it has a bit higher fat content to make it creamy and delicious. Stop by and get your ice cream, then go sit anywhere outside. The swinging benches, by the fountains, are my favorite.

This is NOT Hershey’s ice cream. Yes there are signs in their window but based on quality, flavor, and taste this ain’t it.  I requested rocky road, I received some chocolate ice cream that:  Wasn’t creamy Had no pecans Had no marshmallows  If you’ve ever had Hershey’s you’ll know right away. This is more like Perry’s or another cheaper ice cream. At one time maybe they carried it but not recently.  Who doesn’t finish their ice cream on a hot summers day?  I posted a picture of what real HERSHEY’s looked like. That’s not what you’ll get here!

FAMILY: I think this place is family-owned. It’s cute because it’s a dad & what I believe are his two kids making all the orders. It’s a window & you line up outside to order. Outside seating available.  Friendly staff. You get your ice cream made & given to you before you pay. Good ice cream & reasonably priced. Cute spot to take a date for dessert.

Excellent ice cream. Very tasty. They have only Hershey's Premium Ice Cream, any one you choose will be delicious. And the price is very affordable.

Best ice cream place in town! Have been going for years. Fun flavors, good prices, and even greater portions!  Pretty sure it's a family owned business, which is always a plus in my book! The staff is always friendly too!

Great ice cream for a great price. I love the dark chocolate with raspberries but they haven't had it in awhile. Still plenty of other choices.

We love Scoops! Great portions, affordable prices, plenty of flavors to choose from and friendly owner and staff. Just make sure you get there in time before they close, the line closes before the store.

Love this place, so many dessert to select from. Soft ice cream, cookies, brownies, M&M, Oreo and more.

What to say about Scoops Old Fashioned Ice Cream Store?  The location totally fits the quaint decor of this family owned ice cream shop, right in the lobby of Downtown Winter Garden boutique hotel. The flavors are amazing and it's exactly what you need for a walk along Plant Street on any occasion. The staff is friendly and the quality is great.  Highly recommend it.

I love going there with my kids, they are very generous with the scoop and their price is great!!! If you love coffee ice cream this is the place to go, their cappuccino flavor is amazing!
