Scot Christopher Hair Design offers variety of salon services for men and women. Our mission is to create an atmosphere that encourages artistic expression and beauty.

Our Five creative, proficient stylists are dedicated to maintaining the integrity, heath and beauty of your hair by utilizing superior products and advanced techniques. We can refine and enhance your current style, or work with you to develop new directions ranging from urban edge to classic glamor to reflect your individuality and compliment your life style. Each stylist establishes personal hours of operation and prices for their services.

I went to this salon 5 years ago to get my hair done and it was the most horrifying experience ever. Scott bleached my hair because I wanted to go a shade lighter. I was there for 5 hours as he continued to apply more and more bleach as he was taking his other clients. He usually will double book and have his assistants do most of the work. Anyways, 2 days after this bleach ordeal I ended up in the emergency room with severe burns on my scalp. My hair started to fall out. So much fell out that I finally shaved my head because it was looking so bad. It took me years to recover from this experience. The burns on my head did heal but it took 2 years to grow my hair back.

I recently moved to Boise and was in search of the right person to cut my hair. I have very short hair which needs a precision cut or it is uncontrollable until the next haircut. Depending on the haircut, I either receive spontaneous comments from people I don't know , "your haircut is great" or from friends, "what happened to your hair?" I tried a number of salons and was not successful in finding the right person (more comments from friends). Finally I discovered Erin at Scot Christopher. I am very happy -- she understood how to cut my hair and what I want, and gives me a great cut and color. Compliments have started again. Thank you, Erin.
