Excellent Department. In my opinion One of the Top Departments in Pennsylvania. A Chief who has the backs of his men & women. A Chief who cares for the citizens of Scranton. A Chief that was an actual Police Officer who worked his way through the Ranks. The best Chief of Police in my 30 years alive and living in the City.

I got assaulted and had it all on camera. Went to the police department and after a long wait the officer came out looked at the video then told me "I'm not doing anything with this now get the F*** out of my station!" Mind you I am a transgender women and i think that was  big part of them not caring. After the officer went in the back all of them laughed t me through the window. I never got justice for he assault on me. Mind you I still have the video of the assault.

Awful police enforce, went to report an identity theft case and they keep bouncing me back to other places (which I did, and every place I go, they tell me its their job to take my case, investigate and look for the felon), today I went again to this called police department, and they just told me somebody will contact me soon, really? Its been a month! And nobody has yet, while somebody is out there using my social security and my personal information to do god knows what, im beyond frustrated and dissapointed at the Scranton Police Department.
