I am appalled at how I was treated today at scrub a dub on Forest Ave in Portland. I originally drove in to use the self service which was closed because of the extremely cold temperatures. I opted for the drive through car wash, something I have never done. There was a line but that was fine just needed to get the salt and sand off my car. The first attendant the gentleman taking the money was pleasant and even said if I wasn’t happy the first time he would make them do it again. So I felt ok about this new experience until I drove in. There was so much steam you couldn’t read the signs to tell you what to do. The guy guiding me in already looked annoyed when trying to tell me how to move my tires onto the tracks. I figured drive through, foot off gas and just coast (sorry if that sounds dumb but again I had never done this before). First they yelled at me to stop so they could spray out my wheel wells which is great but they YELLED at me. Then the car started to move, still in drive when I unalloyed my brakes so I put the brakes on thinking that I had moved the car. 4 guys yelled at me, banged on my window, punched the wall next to my car where the instructions were that I could not see (one punch, two punch, three punch - one for each step that yet again I couldn’t see) shaking their head disapprovingly and yelling the whole time. I rolled down my window, almost in tears at this point and thoroughly embarrassed and explained I had never done this before and asked what I needed to do) they told me so I did as they asked and went through the car wash. Not only will I never ever go here again not even for self service but I don’t think I will ever go through another automatic car wash. I left almost in tears and shaking and I am not a sensitive person but they made me feel dumb and were rude, horrible customer service. Not only that but my car is not even close to being as clean as it should be for the $9 I spent to be yelled at and humiliated...

Wish my car got dirty faster. I love this place, the Babylon Restaurant, across the street from ScrubaDub. Food was delicious (salad, iskander, and  arabic coffee), service very friendly, ambiance was also good (if you don't mind eating with poor folks)

Great experience at ScrubaDub Portland. The staff was polite and helpful, and my car came out well! The undercarriage wash in the winter has saved my car.
