They pushed me, lied to me and also lied on their statements. Officer Higgins, officer stafford  and Officer Madden  are corrupt cops who deserve to be kicked off the force. They did not ask anyone who witnessed the incident for a statement. They were the only ones who did statements and they lied to make themselves look good. I asked others who witnessed the incident and they read their statements and also condirmed that they were all lies. If I could sue the police department I would. They did not care if my family had to stay in a parking lot or where they went. Higgins exact words were "I don't care if they sleep in a parking lot" They put me in handcuffs because I kept trying get my kids stuff together and he wouldn't let me. We were all suppose to leave but he would not let me get my and my families stuff and put me in handcuffs and would not let me get my phone to transfer money to my husbands card so they could get a hotel room. My husband is a veteran and I am his caregiver and I have two young kids who had to sleep in a parking lot because the cops didn't care. He fought for our country and my kids and him didn't do anything to deserve that kind of treatment. I lost all faith in the searcy police department. They are a disgrace to the blue uniform. They will do whatever they can to make themselves look good. They deserve no respect.

Bigots who will do anything to legitimize taking citizens into custody so they can pad their yearly taking of tax payers hard earned money. I was in town for work and decided to take an hour nap in my car after a few beers at a restaurant. Police showed up 20 minutes later saying they had reports of a suspicious man peeking into cars. I was lied to. Booked on ambiguous charges only to be cited for trespassing at the restaurant I was a paying customer in. I posted bond and was told for $400 I would never have to return. 1 year later I receive a call when being vetted for an $110,000yr position that I was an "active fugitive" for this situation. Liars, snakes. Using the public to fund their lives though abducting Americans and holding them ransom. I have since implemented a corporate travel ban on our employees traveling to or through Arkansas as a result.
