I was looking for a tool box, after I found one that met my needs I started browsing the store. I noticed a good amount of red sale tags in the tools section. After some browsing and comparing, I came upon a 58pc tool set that was on sale for $29.99. I took it to the register and the cashier said it was $69.99. I explained that there was a sign that advertised it to be on sale much less. Another female associate came out of the managers office and said I'll take a look. I showed her the location of the item and tag, she removed the sale tag and brought it back to the register. Both cashier and another associate confirmed that the item was mislabeled. The worst part was another male associate came out of nowhere and tell me he can do 10%?off. I told him that was unacceptable. I asked if I could speak to the manager and he said that was the manager. Then I asked for the general, store manager or a phone number I could call. He refused, got upset and became very rude. He then said that the manager will be in at noon. 

Overall, everyone at the store were very pleasant before and during the situation. But the young man could have handled this very differently, be a lot nicer and be more professional. I did not feel like a valued customer with a concern it was very unpleasant experience. I like Sears products especially tools but it's not worth being treated like that. I'll take my business elsewhere

Visited Sears Hardware today to purchase a dishwasher and refrigerator. The salesman was friendly and knowledgeable of the products. He gave me space when I was looking at and comparing the various models and answered all of my questions professionally. When I asked him about his recommendations he was honest and straightforward. The checkout process was smooth and I was offered great deals. I'm very happy with my purchases and look forward to delivery day.

After my last delivery experience, I will never purchase an appliance here again.  Giving three stars because the customer service in the store was good.
