Wish I could give 0 stars.... Sears sold me a very expensive LG refrigerator which broke after less than a year. Called for help because LG's certified repairman is a joke and hasn't been able to fix it in 3 weeks. Sears so kindly offered to send out a repairman for $95 to diagnose the problem. Them I would pay parts and labor for him to fix an appliance that is still under warranty. I will never make a purchase from SEARS again. Their motto should be "We sell you crap and charge you to fix it"

I took my vehicle in last week because the brakes were grinding. They told me I needed 4 new rotors and 4 sets of brakes. They quoted me $750. I asked them where the grinding was coming from. They told me it was coming from the rear wheels. I asked for a quote to just replace the rear rotors & brakes, since the front ones had been replaced 9 months ago. They informed me that they didn't feel comfortable just replacing the rear. They would only replace all of them. So, I took it to another garage for a second opinion. The garage that gave me the second opinion told me that I probably had another 20,000 miles on the front end, and they replaced the rear rotors and brakes for $150. I do not recommend Sears Auto Center.

Our hot water heater broke and we needed a replacement right away. We had no luck finding anybody in Clarksburg reliable and willing to get the job done. Called on all plumbing service people available, also checked out all local hardware stores and nobody would take on the project on a Friday afternoon except when we came across a customer service person at Sears. Her name was Rhonda and she went out of her way to help us take care of the problem. She was very prompt, diligent, friendly and really took care of our immediate need. She was very persistent in scheduling a service person that same day and did not give up getting a commitment from the service person. She was very professional and got the job done. What a relief. Thanks to her we have our new water heater and got an immediate response, unlike all the other places, who never bothered calling us back or addressing our need. Thank you very much Rhonda. You have restored our faith in customer service. We most definitely will come back to this store and appreciate your help.
