After bouncing around from dealership to dealership and searching for three months, these guys set me up right. I was blown away by the honesty and patience of this team. Cant thank Searsport Motor Co. enough for their hard work to fit me into a vehicle that not only did I want but was also affordable. 
(Also thanks to Jed for finding me something, and Monty for taking care of the sale while Jeds outta town!)

I hate to post bad reviews, but it seems as though there was a blatant disregard for the customer in this instance. 

My car broke down a few days ago and I figured this would be the place to take it according to the locals. Sadly, they didn't have a mechanic on site for a few days so I was stuck in a motel down the road. Since it was just a heater hose leak I was told I would be on my way before 10 the day the mechanic got in. When that day arrived I was told I had to wait until the next day while they ordered a part. I waited until then but later found out it would be even longer since the order was never put through properly by the shop. So days later and hours and hours of waiting in a shop later I am still here being told that it will be "longer than anticipated."

I have nothing but sympathy for out-of-hand delays, but when mechanics aren't readily available during business hours, information is miscommunicated and orders for parts can't even make it on the priority list, reviews like this need to be written. 

I will not be returning to Searsport Motor even if my car depends on me pushing it to the next town over.

I purchased a Toyota truck from them a couple of years ago.  They have done my inspection and maintenance since then.  I have had no problems with the quality or timeliness of their work.

BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!! though it doesn't show it here I have read other reviews of this "car dealer" every one I have read has had pretty much the same experience as I have...... TERRIBLE!!!!! my boyfriend bought a Toyota truck from them that we had for 1 year the frame broke 2 1st time I brought it back to them (less then 2 months after he bought it) they charged me almost $500 to fix and had to take it back the next day because they didn't level it before they welded it and the whole bed was warped and the 2nd time I took it else where(charged half) they said the truck was not safe to drive and never should have left the lot!!! they sell crap cars that look nice but will die far before you are done paying for them!!!!!
