Everyone is nice but they can't help. As a Vet I can't obtain many of my records, because they were sent to and stored at Jefferson Barracks near St. Louis. There records got wet mildewed rotted. Thank God I had my DD214 otherwise I'd be totally screwed. I served my country from 1972-1975. All I got in return was ,"I'm sorry" we were unable to obtain your records. I was hurt and treated following an airborne jump injury. Walk with a limp and chronic back problems. VA Can't find my record. Fired weapons until I lost most of my hearing. My tribe the Choctaw Nation gave me hearing aids. The VA and my country gave me a lame excuse about how they lost my medical records.
