Signing up was easy. Indoor, climate-controlled comfort. Automatic lighting. 24/7 access.

Not happy with this facility before I even sign up with them. I was told over the phone that I can see the unit before I rent, having already discussed rates. I took time off work to visit the facility within the agreed upon time frame. The man at the front desk took one look at me (I'm black) and decided he was going to make renting difficult for me. He told me they are totally booked. So, he has to put me on a list. In addition to that, he can't show me the units because they are booked. None of this information was communicated to me over the phone from just 2 days ago. I walked out not wanting to deal with Security Self Storage ever again. I'm not insinuating that the man is racist but just stating the facts.
