I've always had anxiety about dental visits until I started coming to this office. I don't know how they can remember everyone so well! It really does feel like your apart of a family in the office. Everyone from the door to the chair was wonderful and so very sweet. And Dr. Powell did an AMAZING job pulling my tooth! I was told I would need an oral surgeon but nope! He pulled it out so fast when he said all done, I said "huh!?" Susan, I hope you read this! Thank you both so very much! Feeling better already :)

We appreciate Dr. Powell and his entire team. They go above and beyond in all aspects of making us feel comfortable. Their knowledge of insurance estimates as well as pre-authorizing our dental treatment is an added benefit in preparing us for our dental needs. Thank you for making us feel comfortable and making the process of going to the dentist easy. We appreciate all of your team!

Best office ever. Wonderful ladies at the front desk. The assistants and hygienists are so personable and sweet. You can totally relax while your teeth are being attended to. You are always welcomed as if your part a large family. Everyone remembers your name and your dental situation. Dr Powell is very kind and gentle in his approach. He is just a really great guy to have as your dentist.

I absolutely LOVE this office!  They're always so incredibly kind and caring from the moment you walk in.  They make you feel like you are the only one they are caring for in their office (clearly I know this isn't true, but it's nice to feel like your needs are their priority).  Dr. Powell actually listens to you and is honest and patient... Kristi and Carlene, their hygienists, are amazing!  Susan is absolutely wonderful too!  I've always been that person to find every excuse to avoid the dentist, until I started coming here... I HIGHLY recommend them!

It is easy to write an honest and detailed review for Dr. Brant Powell and his staff at Sedation Dentistry NW, located at 1901 South Union Street in Tacoma, WA. His dental office is located in the Allenmore Medical building. 
If any of you out there are looking for a superior sedation dentist, then Dr. Brant Powell is the doctor that I highly recommend and I guarantee that you will extremely satisfied and relieved that you had Dr. Brant Powell to be the sedation dentist of your choice.
Dr. Brant Powell is an exceptional professional in his area of expertise of sedation dentistry. Personally he is an individual of few words as he leaves the communication to his head nurse Susan who deals with all the patients. But when Dr. Powell works on your case, his level of workmanship is superior to any other dentist in his profession.  He is extremely meticulous in doing a beautiful and flawless job from start to finish. I was his patient as of the past week and I had to have a total of 10 teeth to be extracted. Like most patients that have a great fear of seeing the dentist, I was extremely paranoid when I arrived at the first office consultation as I did not trust any dentist prodding in my mouth. This is due to some very bad past experiences with a previous dental office that worked on my mouth. But after speaking to Susan Johnson who is his head nurse that explained the whole procedure to me, I was much calmer and more relaxed with making the appointment to have the extractions done by Dr. Powell a few weeks later.
In a nutshell Dr.Powell deserves much more recognition for his excellent workmanship and Professionalism in the Tacoma community. When he handled my case, he took the time and care to close the open wounds of each extraction with meticulous sewing of each open wound where the tooth had been removed. Dr. Powell maybe a dentist of few words but he expresses his caring of his patients by the end result of his flawless workmanship. He deserves the five stars that I have given him and more.  Also I want to make mention that Susan his head nurse is also an exceptional professional in her field of patient services. She is definitely a calming force that makes you the patient feel you are in good hands. A five star nurse without any doubt!
