I purchased a Groupon for 3 Brazilian waxes at Serenity Zone Med Spa. The plan was to have all three done before going on vacation (with the last one right before vacation). The salon is clean, relaxing, and all the staff I have met were very nice. All three appointments were with Marilyn and she was really wonderful. She was friendly and as gentle as one can be while ripping hair out of your nether regions. Each time I came in, she asked me how I healed and made recommendations on the type of wax to use and updated to my chart. Each appointment lasted about 40 minutes, but the time went by surprisingly quickly because Marilyn was so amiable.

If there was ever a situation when I really felt like a wax would be the way to go, I would certainly come back to this location. However, I don't love the results enough to keep coming back once a month. There always seemed to be hair left behind in random places after each wax. I'm not sure if that is just my hair or if there is something wrong with the technique, but it's frustrating. I don't have a lot of experience with getting waxed, so I don't know if this is just part of it, but I had the preconceived notion that there would be absolutely NO hair left behind...and that's not the case. I feel like I can get every single hair when I shave. Although shaving doesn't last quite as long, I also don't need to grow the hair out as long between shavings.

Lovely experience every time. I have been here twice for waxing and they do an excellent job. The atmosphere is relaxing, the staff is professional, everything is clean and hygienic. The staff really go our of their way to make it a pleasant experience. And they occasionally offer great sales and deals. They stay in touch with customers but don't bombard you with too much junk mail either.

I have been going for services at Serenity Zone Med Spa for many years.  The staff is so very kind and every service has been well worth it!  The owner, Jennifer is a wealth of knowledge and continues to reach out to me with new ideas to continue to help me with my needs.  I would greatly  recommend them!

One of the best Brazilian Wax experiences I ever had! The staff was very nice, and helpful in my time being there. She made me feel comfortable, and even talked to me through the tough parts. Excellent results, and even filled my request if we had some time left over to do another wax service so she was super quick. Also gave me some suggestions on wax after care.. Great service will be returning here regularly!

I love this place! I've had pedicures, manicures and aromatherapy massages done here. It is hands down the cleanest salon I've ever been to. You feel right at home, and surrounded by friends each time you go in. There is such a warm, calm, inviting  feeling the minute you walk into this spa. I feel very lucky to have this place in my neighborhood, although I would happily travel here if I didn't live close. That's how great this place is :)
