There is a very evident and unacceptable lack of care for guests health and safety here. A friend of ours had a room with a removed smoke detector. A single missing smoke detector can allow for a fire to grow undetected for a while and become a quickly spreading dangerous fire. There is no acceptable grace period for these in the hotel industry. You should absolutely never encounter one missing. There is a mold problem coming from the AC units. When maintenance fails to clean out the dust from these what happens is that the moisture from the condenser soaks the dust and lint that is trapped inside. Being constantly wet it now creates mold. When you turn the unit on the fan spreads those mold spores all over the room. Our room had a stinky moldy smell and so did our friends room. Looking at reviews on TA it's evident that other people have reported the same. Guess what, they never fixed it and don't intend to. Mold is a very serious health hazard. Mold can cause reactions in some individuals that range from allergy-like symptoms to even being hospitalized due to the exposure. It is unacceptable to place guests in a room that has mold issues. You should not use the room to generate revenue at the cost of my health, hoping I wouldn't notice the problem you are aware of and don't intend to fix. All of the staff are very accustomed to creating new key cards for guests due to their issues with defects, The problem I have is that they never verify the guest should have access to the room before the replacement cards are handed out. Each and every employee we saw create replacement cards did nothing to verify the person asking for the cards is the person staying in that room. Hint, this is how your stuff gets stolen from your room, or worse, someone gets raped/etc. This is a huge personal security issue. Huge! A member of the wedding party was able to successful acquire key cards to another friends room without permission. If there was a competent management presence at this hotel, this dangerous procedure flaw would have been corrected long ago. The beds worked. I'm used to much newer and more comfortable mattresses in a hotel room. We were able to sleep on the mattress but it was noticeable that it was towards the end of it's projected life span. It's a very loud hotel. The walls, doors, and floors did not provide any dampening of noises. Sounds from the hallway and heavy walking or running in the hallway above us were quite loud. This is a budget hotel so these things are maybe not entirely surprising. All around the management has failed to do the job that management is there for. Our room had all kinds of things wrong with it. There were housekeeping issues. There were front desk issues. We saw some really bad ideas. Don't bother letting management know. They already know and don't intend to correct anything.

Reserved a room with two queens, but their queen beds are actually fulls. Do not plan on fitting two normal sized adults comfortably on one bed. The beds, however, were very comfortable. Pillows were small squares (probably because the beds are undersized), so bring your own if you want a normal sized pillow. The three pillows provided per bed were of varying densities so that was nice. The room was clean for the most part, there was sharp wire on the floor so either didn't vacuum or didn't vacuum well. Breakfast included biscuits and gravy, cereal, waffles, toast and pastries, and instant oatmeal. There was juice and coffee as well. Normally I love hotel waffles, but these did taste odd. Pool area was clean and pool temp was cool, but comfortable once in the pool a bit. There is not a hot tub, but the pool was fun. The parking lot was dangerously slick, they only salted under the awning, which was where it was needed least. Check-in was easy, but the lady checking out was having a bad day and not shy about sharing. Any attempt of positivity was instantly crushed, but hey, I tried.

Very nice and clean! Staff was friendly, jacuzzi was very clean, pillows and bed were very comfortable. Breakfast had options, I wish they had fruit or yogurt but everything there was delicious. I would definitely stay here again!

I will NOT plan my next business stay at this hotel. I made a reservation and was quoted a price with a total amount. At check in the price was more than the price quoted when I made the reservation. When I mentioned this, I was told, IF YOU WANT THIS ROOM THIS IS THE PRICE YOU PAY. Also was told I was quoted a weekday rate, and I was staying on a Friday. I find this hard to understand since we discussed the day and date at the time of the reservation and the person making the reservation identified themselves as a manager. It is not my problem if they mis-quoted the price, it is my problem if they refuse to honor the price I was quoted and reserved under. I would recommend anyone staying here to take an extra check book - you may need it!
