I feel lucky to have this local bike shop in the SE and on my bike commute route. It is so easy to decide to pop in and ask questions or get my bike serviced. Corey and crew are professionals and great people. Great customer service, great prices, and excellent work. I just had a front wheel built with a dynamo hub and it took two days for the rim to arrive and a day to build. Corey even transferred my brake rotor and tire from my old rim, and he wired my light to the hub. I’m a happy guy when I get new bike parts and Corey was genuinely happy for as well.

Corey (owner) is great. Always can trust him to give me an honest opinion. Products are all well chosen and quality. Best shop for getting what you need without getting swindled into more.

This was easily the best shopping experience I've ever had. 5 stars is a completely inadequate way to describe the excellence of product and customer service at Seven Corners Cycles. This was the first place I went to buy a new hybrid commuter bike. Over the last few years I'd ridden a couple bikes into the ground after I got rid of my car and started biking as my main way to get around. Between what I learned about bikes from that and a few hours of focused research I went in with a pretty good idea of what I was looking for in a bike. From that point, Corey, the guy who helped me at Seven Corners, spent the better part of an hour showing me different bikes within the category I was looking for. He easily doubled the information I started with, pointing out -no, more than that, teaching me about- the variables between the brands, models and price points of several different bikes. After three test rides and extensive input on his part he gave me a recommendation: Go check out this other local bike store. I just need to stop here and say that 99% of sales people, at this point, even the good honest ones, would have easily closed the sale with me right then and there. (I was excited about one of the products, we had built a good raport, and I was feeling pretty comfortable about the product and the bussiness). But I had commented that I loved one of the bikes they had in stock, but wanted to try and possibly buy the same model, but with rim brakes instead of disc brakes. He checked, and the manufacturer was out of what I was looking for, so it couldn't be ordered until they made more of them. Since that could have been the next week, or in three months (such things are uncertain) he said to go try one at one of their competitors if they still had one. If I liked it, great! But if they didn't have any in stock there either, Corey said to let him know, because he would try to negotiate with the manufacturer for a lower price for the bike with the discs. As it turned out, the other place, a good, solid, helpful bike store in its own right, did have the rim brake model. By that time though, I had reconsidered about the discs and decided to spring for the extra $150 to get it. (It had a couple other upgrades as well: seat and fork, maybe one or two other little things.) Anyways, the next day, I walk into Seven Corners having already decided to buy the bike at listed price, since the cheaper model was in stock in town, and Corey wouldn't be able to use that as leverage with the manufacturer to reduce the price. Even at that though, it was a fair price and I was happy to buy it even though I'd be going over my original budget by a fair bit. So, I walk in and Corey greets me by name right away. He was working on some modifaction for another customer, but another employee is deployed to help get my bike set up with the accessories I had in mind right away. While that gets underway, I chat with Corey a bit more while he's working on the other bike, at which point he informs me that he's taking $50 off. I was blown away, because the sale was already made, and I was already happy with the fair price, even though I was splurging over my budget. He also told me that routine sevices and adjustments would be free for the life of the bike! Wow! And the end of this true story ... The bike is fantastic - exactly what I wanted. Smooth, solid, stable commuter but with finesse too. If I had time, I'd write a stellar review just for the product (Jamis Coda Comp). And not quite a week later I get a handwritten 'congrats on the new bike' card delivered in the mail. Signed Corey. So if you're looking for a new bike, do yourself a favor ...
